As an Search Engine Optimization analyst, you will be responsible for the development of research and analysis in support of strategic Search Engine Optimization initiatives. Developing process and procedures to support data analysis to deliver topic ideation, competitive search analysis, content gap analysis, and the automation of Search Engine Optimization processes. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop process and procedures for SEO operations, including topic ideation, research analysis, competitive audit, content workflow, automation and other SEO processes. 
  • Perform high level keyword research to identify search opportunities that align with Chase's customer interests and digital experiences.
  • Develop keyword segmentation logic in order to segment keywords based on product intent in support of topic ideation.
  • Identify, document, and implement efficiencies within SEO operations.
  • Provide SEO topic recommendations across all LOBs in support of both Brand/Product pages and education center pages. 
  • Manage communication of requirements, QA data output and audit SEO processes.
  • Maintain keyword reporting structures within keyword tracking tools and while ensuring data quality standards are maintained. 
  • Maintain content categorization for reporting and analysis across multiple platforms ensuring all published data is categorized according to SEO and Customer Journey standards. 
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools like Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge, or similar platforms.
  • Perform ad-hoc research and analysis in support of SEO strategy scope using SEO, Paid Search, and Adobe Analytics data.
  • Operationalize SEO procedures including content gap analysis, internal link audits, topic ideation, competitive research, monthly performance scorecard, and other analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Advance skill in Excel with experience in using VBA, Pivot Tables, Macros, formulas like vlookup, hlookup and graphs in order to analyze a large data set and tell a story from them
  • Experience in developing large scale topic ideation at the product and editorial level
  • Expertise in keyword clustering methodologies and their application to SEO strategies would be an added advantage
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors would be preferred.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge, Google Search Console, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret large amounts or data to tell a story or make recommendations base on their analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related field with proven experience (3-5 years) in SEO keyword research and analysis would be preferred
  • Knowledge in Python programming language and experience with NLP libraries (NLTK, SpaCy, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SQL programing language with knowledge or organizing data through queries.
  • Knowledge on setting up site crawl with custom extractions with Oncrawl and/or Screaming Frog
  • Knowledge of keyword research tools including Brightedge, Google Search Console, Oncrawl (or similar)
