Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Saint‑Gobain Performance Plastics, Clearwater, is looking for a Production Supervisor to champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement while driving operational excellence on our 2nd shift.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise daily shift operations across multiple work centers, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently met.
  • Drive adherence to World Class Manufacturing principles while meeting or exceeding KPIs, including OEE and schedule performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, planning, and quality teams to support continuous improvement, problem-solving, and CAPA initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and FDA requirements while upholding Saint‑Gobain’s Principles of Conduct and Action.
  • Train, coach, develop, and mentor operators and leads—building skill sets, performance, and engagement.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and step in as an operator when necessary to maintain workfl
  • ow.Maintain accurate documentation including timekeeping, production reporting, work orders, scrap reporting, and ECO approvals.
  • Promote strong communication between shifts and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment aligned with 5S standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or business administration — OR 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading, developing, or training others
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision‑making ability.
  • Technical leadership skills with the ability to coach both hourly operators and junior engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
