The Role

The Treasury Operations Coordinator will play a key role supporting the treasury department with global bank and debt administration activities. This position reports to the Director of Treasury and Financial Planning & Analysis at The Wonderful Company's headquarters in Los Angeles and has significant exposure to the Treasurer and CFO. The treasury department manages the Company's cash and debt exposures through a worldwide network of financial institutions.

The Treasury Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the administrative and documentation activities required to comply with internal controls and policies and external regulations and local banking requirements. The Treasury Operations Coordinator will have extensive interaction with internal stakeholders (tax, legal, accounting) and external partners (relationship banks) across a variety of treasury activities. The Coordinator will continually seek to build efficiencies and improve procedures to help build a world class treasury infrastructure to support the Company's growth.


Here's what you'll do:

This role includes but is not limited to the following tasks/duties:

  • Manage the system administration responsibilities, documentation and procedures for online bank portals. This involves managing system access for global end users of bank accounts and establishing user entitlements in accordance with policy.
  • Own all bank account documentation activities (opening/closing bank accounts, KYC updates, changes to signature cards, etc.)
  • Manage all administrative correspondence relating to bank, borrowing / repayment of credit facilities, and investment accounts
  • Perform ongoing bank fee analysis and provide recommendations for cost savings on banking products and services
  • Managing daily credit borrowings/repayments, cash balances, and liquidity
  • Partner with business units to streamline treasury services and treasury operations
  • Execute foreign exchange currency transactions
  • Manage intercompany and external loans and perform recurring interest income/expense analyses for various stakeholders (tax, reporting, finance, etc.)
  • Prepare wire packages for key treasury payments (ex: acquisitions, debt borrowing/repayments, intercompany transactions)
  • Serve as primary responder to address ad-hoc banking issues requiring same day action (problems with user access, payments, reporting)
  • Assist with recurring reporting responsibilities (disclosure questionnaires, user audits, bank account audits)
  • Update / document treasury procedures (operations, audits, etc.)
  • Travel requirements are limited, and mostly within California

Here's what you'll bring to the table:

Required Education:

  • BS/BA in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
  • Master's degree or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) a plus

 Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in FP&A, or Accounting, or Treasury
  • Experience with Bloomberg a plus

 Required Skills:

  • Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills
  • Strong experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and other Office applications
  • Experience with online banking portals, preferably as a system administrator or super-user
  • Prior experience working directly with bank documentation or legal documentation
  • Prior experience working at a bank/ financial institution or in a corporate treasury department at a multinational company with extensive international investment/banking infrastructure is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle is a plus
  • Basic accounting knowledge is a plus
