A Day in the Life: As a Class B CDL Driver, you'll play a key role in the timely delivery and transportation of ice to designated locations, ensuring product integrity and compliance with delivery protocols. You'll handle loading and unloading materials, verify inventory accuracy, secure cargo safely, and operate vehicles in accordance with Department of Transportation guidelines. While working as part of a two-person delivery team, you'll be expected to complete daily routes, maintain documentation, monitor vehicle condition, and communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.

What You Bring to the Table

Driving and Delivery Expertise

  • Holds a valid Class B CDL license and maintains a clean driving record
  • Knowledgeable of local geographic routes and navigation best practices
  • Follows scheduled deliveries and traffic laws while maintaining professional conduct

Operational and Safety Skills

  • Skilled at loading/unloading products and confirming delivery accuracy
  • Monitors vehicle condition and reports safety concerns or mechanical issues promptly
  • Complies with all DOT regulations and internal safety procedures

Equipment and Physical Capability

  • Demonstrates proper use of motor vehicles, inventory scanners, and safety gear
  • Performs physically active tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds and navigating various work environments

Team Contribution and Communication

  • Works cooperatively in a two-person team, adapting to changing priorities as needed
  • Communicates clearly with customers and internal staff, maintaining accurate logs and delivery records
  • Receives supervisory guidance constructively and participates in a respectful workplace culture
