What you'll do

You will be expected to work within a large team servicing a global client in the alcoholic beverages industry, operating across several countries outside of the US. You will directly support the Director of MMM Consultancy. You will also serve as a critical interface between our clients and our internal analytics and other specialist teams.

At the heart of the role is your understanding of data, analytics, and crucially MMM. Although you will not directly generate the MMM models, you will use this knowledge to support the Director of MMM Consultancy in in translating complex analytics outputs into actionable insights for our clients. Your role will require you to weave these insights into compelling narratives that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will be entrusted with nurturing and sustaining client relationships through a balance of technical acumen and excellent communication skills. There is a strong emphasis on stakeholder management and the ability to have a commercial mindset also.

In addition to your client-facing responsibilities, you will act as a crucial link within Gain Theory, coordinating effectively with multiple parties to bring consultancy projects to fruition.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Understand Marketing Mix Modelling to facilitate decision making
  • You will translate complex analytics outputs into actionable insights for our clients
  • Manage day to day interactions with the client and build client relationships across all levels
  • Work with internal data and analytics teams to access information, data and insight to the support creation of consultancy material
  • Interpret Analytics results (MMM, Digital Attribution etc.) and understand the implications of these results to the client and present these findings
  • Manage workflows to hit consultancy deadlines
  • Understanding of a broad set of performance metrics such as MROI
  • Represent Gain Theory internally and externally ensuring alignment of project goals and client objectives
  • Continually develop marketing effectiveness knowledge and expertise

What we want from you:

  • Strong understanding of marketing mix modelling
  • Experience working with complex data across different channels and markets
  • Experience working in client engagement teams / modelling teams
  • Experience translating complex analytics outputs into actionable insights and presenting these findings to different stakeholders at various levels
  • Prior experience with Data interpretation, ability to connect data across multiple pieces of work
  • Highly proficient with technology/software and can demonstrate being able to pick up programming languages quickly - Python
  • Have a working understanding of response curves and optimization
  • You can demonstrate excellent problem solving skills
  • An understanding of consumer behaviour
  • Excellent communication skills

Strong Preference to have:

A degree in Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics or statistics or equivalent
