About the role:

  • Upload and publish portal content using available webparts, adhering to style guidelines and maintaining continuity across the site. Subject Matter Expert on basic portal functionality and standards.
  • Proactively reviews portal content with internal customers to make sure it is up to date and follows style guidelines. Partners with internal customers and Portal Manager on content requirements to develop portal solutions that meet business requirements. Includes conducting content reviews, tracking content inventories, recommending page layout approaches or alternatives, and editing & writing content. Leads meetings and/or ensures follow-up actions are completed. Meets regularly with the Portal Manager and provides status updates.
  • Support portal expansion projects. Partner with Portal Manager to create content inventories, track content requirements, plan site layout & structure, and load content.
  • Conducts portal upgrade end user testing. Participates in basic site enhancements and fixes including defining requirements with the portal team and/or vendors, designing page layouts using available webparts, loading content, and developing test scripts.
  • Run and analyze metrics to report on employee usage and recommendations for content improvements.
  • May participate in troubleshooting basic portal application issues/questions and work with technical teams for resolution.
  • Provide back-up support to the Portal Manager and Portal Team as needed.
  • Stays current on portal best practices to continuously improve the user experience.
  • This position will be remote.

About you:

To be successful for this position you must have the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, HR Management, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of HR systems or related experience (web application development and content management)
  • Web publishing software experience required; ServiceNow experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must have superior verbal and written command of the English language with the ability to write with grammatical accuracy.
  • Ability to form and maintain strong partnering relationships with clients.
  • Basic influencing skills
  • Understanding of HR processes and information preferred
  • Prior experience handling confidential information preferred
  • Comfortable working with global, virtual teams via teleconference and web sharing technology.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate working with global teams, portal application development cycles and project needs.
