Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking scaffold builders for an outage in Bennettsville, SC. Scaffold Builder is responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding at job sites. Must have 1-2 years work experience as a Scaffold Builder.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Constructing scaffolding at job sites
• Dismantling scaffolding at job sites
• Determining the amount of materials needed, transporting materials to job site, and identifying appropriate construction locations
• Adhering to the Company’s safety standards and enforcing safety regulations
• Cleans all work areas
• Performs any other duties assigned by supervisor
• Performs all work in a safe and efficient manner and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Qualifications

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. May be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Must have 1-2 years work experience as a Scaffold Builder

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Demands

• Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24’ high.
• Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
• Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
• Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
• Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
• The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
• Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
