Marsh’s Education Practice has a long heritage of meeting the significant and specialist risk management and insurance needs of the education sector, through excellence in the provision of education insurance products and services. Our ability to support a diverse array of education establishments rests on our expertise and experience – our skill in identifying individual risk needs, source competitive and appropriate covers, and provide advice and on-going support through our UK network of dedicated client executives.

 

We provide protection focused on dealing with exposure to physical, consequential, legal, management, financial and reputational risk – drawing on a bespoke portfolio of innovative insurance solutions and risk management services that meet the specific requirements of each educational institution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an allocated portfolio of clients across the Education sector

  • Identify and agree strategies for each clients’ risk management, risk financing and insurance needs and objectives

  • Work with clients to maximise the business opportunities and broaden the product offering

  • Lead programme design activities through to sign off

  • Produce budget proposals for client and negotiate fees

  • Host client and Insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client service teams

  • Strive to deliver best practice, market-leading service and solutions for all clients

Qualifications

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven Insurance experience, preferably within Commercial lines, however, Personal lines experience will also be considered

  • Experience of working with Education related clients will be beneficial

  • Strong relationship building and relationship management skills are essential

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills are essential

  • Analytical and problem solving skills will be beneficial

  • CII qualified (or equivalent)
