Your role in our mission

Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.

  • As a Product Owner will be the ‘go-to’ person for that product.
  • Work with diverse teams to work on product changes and enhancements and deliver them on time.
  • Be the single owner to work with the PMO/Scrum Master to align ADO workload (from backlog) and prioritize them as required by delivery/contractual timeline.
  • Create estimates for engineering work, consults and negotiates with clients to discuss system requirements, prepare specifications, explain proposals, and present engineering reports and findings.
  • Provides technical expertise with the development, analysis of, troubleshooting and testing of new and ongoing project matters.
  • Communicate progress to external teams.
  • Ensure code is reviewed and engineering best practices are met.

What we're looking for

  • 6 to 8 overall technical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in Software Development with 2+ years of experience in technical leadership (managing software developers, test engineers, etc) 
  • 2 - 5 years of proven knowledge of Product Ownership in previous experiences
  • Engineering processes/procedures experience with a history of aligning teams to new processes.
  • Proven track record of delivering complete software projects within an Agile paradigm. 
  • Previous programming experience in a modern full-stack web development environment (Ex. Dot Net development)
  • Experience in cloud first or cloud native development and deployment. Must have experience with either AWS or Azure.
  • Scrum Master Experience.
  • SAFe certification or working knowledge is required
  • Experience interfacing with multiple business areas such as Sales, Marketing, Business Financial Analysis, and Project Management
