As Test Automation Engineer you will be part of the team Machine QA with focus on the software solution for processing images and analyze radiotherapy Quality Assurance data. Our aim is to provide customers with fully integrated solutions to enhance the reliability and safety of radiotherapy treatments. We closely collaborate with other engineering locations of Varian, mainly at our R&D site in Budapest, Hungary and Baden, Switzerland.

In this new position in a team of highly competent software engineers you will test software solutions and define test strategy in close collaboration with your colleagues, with product management, with scientific partners, and directly with our clinical users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design tests and perform verification for Quality Assurance products for radiotherapy systems.
  • Develop and maintain test environment, test framework and automated test cases.
  • Provide guidance for automated test cases implementation
  • Provide all necessary documentation related to this area of responsibility.
  • Interest in gathering domain knowledge in the areas of radiotherapy quality assurance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Software developer (B.Sc. or M.Sc. level).
  • 3-5 years of testing and test automation experience.
  • Experience in windows automation for desktop application testing (preferably C#)
  • ISTQB certificate is an asset.
  • Testing experience on hardware is an asset.
  • Knowledge and interest in modern software testing and integration methods, e.g. TDD, CI, etc.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Traveling expenditure: Up to 10%.

You are used to working independently, open to discussing ideas and solutions with your colleagues. You thrive in an international work environment and in cultivating your contacts with partners in Europe and overseas.
