Purpose:

Join our Nashville team to launch IQOS, a new premium heated tobacco product that was successfully introduced in 82 countries worldwide. Mosaic has been retained by Philip Morris International’s U.S. affiliate, Triaga Inc., to operate Triaga’s retail channels in the U.S. The Supervisor, Key Accounts will organize and control the indirect retail channel by effectively managing and developing a team of Sales Experts, leading by example and monitoring the entire operational activities of the channel. The ideal candidate has experience with workforce and team management along with creating a collaborative environment of B2B2C field force while executing the planned operating model. The Supervisor, Key Accounts will lead by example as they assist retailers and legal-age smokers and nicotine users, providing exceptional customer service, informing and aiding in the conversion of these legal-age smokers and nicotine users to premium heated tobacco products. Additionally, the Supervisor, Key Accounts will implement the sales plan consisting of quantitative and qualitative KPIs, conversion goals, and increasing market share. They will also be instrumental in creating a positive perception of the brand by introducing premium heated tobacco products to as many legal-age smokers and nicotine users for long-lasting conversion.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and develop a team of experts across a territory, whose primary role is to visit stores in an assigned region, build and maintain trusting relationships, train & engage store sales associates on products, and promote and advocate products and brand to drive sell-through.
  • Empower team members to demonstrate thought leadership and decision-making by creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Establish, foster, and drive strong partnerships with leadership to enhance and promote brand engagement, identify key growth opportunities, and drive overall sell-through for a defined territory.
  • Maintain highly visible presence both in person and virtually in designated territory by conducting regular field visits to ensure excellence and value-add from the Experts store engagements.
  • Maintain a strong level of expectation and ability to lead/coach.
  • Highly adaptable to an ever-changing business landscape.
  • Communicate in clear, creative, and informative ways of all sales cycle tasks through a presentation to Experts including but not limited to KPIs, contact stages, recommendations based on legal age smokers and nicotine users’ trends in geographic locations, individual expert plans, additional work focuses, and previous month results.
  • Be the key liaison to the B2B field force to coordinate on activities with Experts in store.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a complex B2B2C, helping to resolve issues and escalate to appropriate B2B field force leadership. 
  • Adhere to all processes and procedures and delegates responsibilities to team based on strengths.
  • Comply with all local regulations.
  • Responsible for team performance and agreed metrics.
  • Provide monthly summary of results of Experts, analyzing performance on an individual level and propose action plans to Supervisor to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proactively within the team looking for solutions aimed at increasing conversions and market share, process unification and simplification and coordinating with Managers.
  • Conduct personalized presentations of the product to legal age smokers and nicotine users in accordance with local regulations and brand guidelines.
  • Facilitate regular on-the-job to Sales experts in a timely manner.
  • Create work schedules for each Sales Expert and monitor their compliance while monitoring coverage.
  • Control the opening of activations, supervises activities during work shift and closure of activations.
  • Implement the process of daily inventory check at store and is accountable for reconciliation of stock and reporting this accurately.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • At least 8+ years of combined Field Sales/retail sales experience
  • 3+ years’ supervisor/ management experience in Field Sales/retail sales with the ability to manage a diverse, remote team in a performance-based culture focused on brand advocacy.
  • Proven experience in data reporting and analytical reporting required.
  • Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to analyze sales and market territory data to provide guidance and direction for under-performing experts and stores within a territory.
  • Critical thinking to evaluate, assess, and make recommendations to senior leadership based on team market intelligence and feedback on current business conditions.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
  • Superior interpersonal skills while working closely with Leaders, Experts, other team members, and clients.
  • Excellent judgment, effective problem-resolution skills, and the ability to balance multiple demands.
  • Ability to empower team members to demonstrate thought leadership and decision-making by creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify trends and determine how to accomplish results with some guidance.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and train a team of Experts.
  • Ability to lift up to 120 pounds with assistance.
  • Licensed driver with good driving record.
  • DOT certification a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
