Internship Duration: College/University course semester dates

Boardriders, Inc. offers internships in various departments and provides college students with supervised practical experience in the workplace. You can intern in departments suchas Merchandising & Design, Retail Buying, Marketing, Public Relations, Operations and Human Resources to name a few.

To be considered for the Internship Program you MUST:

  • Be a Junior or Senior currently enrolled at a college or university; or enrolled in an MBA program AND
  • Receive academic credit for your internship AND
  • Able to provide proof of health insurance

(Please note: Students are eligible to intern during their course dates. Students may not begin before course date or continue past course date unless authorization letter is provided)

WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?

  • Graphic Design intern will help develop and design graphic solutions for seasonal assets for use in-stores, ecomm platforms, and print
  • Work with Element team to creatively problem solve
  • Assist and learn to manage workload, deliver on creative deadlines in a timely manner
  • Research current trends within the industry in order to communicate accurate marketing assets
  • Interns will gain the ability to understand a working environment within a company as well as working with other departments within Boardriders (Ecomm, Photo Studio)

WHAT SKILLS, MAJOR OR EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac Platform
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of the industry
  • Soon to graduate
  • Passion for Skateboarding, Arts, Nature
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Great communication skills
