The Human Resources Director – U.S. serves as the HR leader supporting Diodes Incorporated’s U.S. operations. You will design and execute processes that enhance business performance and encourage team members’ engagement. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all our HR policies and practices are compliant across the U.S. operations. In addition to U.S. responsibilities, this role will also be responsible for some global activities such as salary planning and bonus reviews, and you will partner with other HR leaders in Asia and Europe to ensure that our HR processes are consistent across the globe.
The HR Director – U.S. will be passionate about fostering a positive work environment, developing talent, and driving professionalization and collaboration across the organization to support continued growth and success.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR-related matters
- Responsible for all Human Resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, recognition, and engagement; performance and talent management; training and development; and talent acquisition.
- Lead, develop, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs
- Provide analysis and reporting on HR metrics.
- Support the global merit and bonus processes.
- Experience with M&A activity, including due diligence and integration.
- Ensure consistent enforcement of HR policies across the U.S. while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws
- Support recruitment strategies to attract top talent across multiple locations.
- Ensure that all audit requirements are met in a timely manner with no findings.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field required.
- Master’s degree (HR, Business Administration, or Organizational Psychology) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a strategic HRBP or HR leadership role within a technical industry with manufacturing (i.e. semiconductor, defense, robotics).
- Proven success supporting geographically dispersed workforces.
