Customer Success Associate (Intern)

Lightspeed is seeking full-time energetic, driven and passionate Customer Success Associate intern to join the Customer Success Team, based in Ghent. Reporting to our Customer Support Director, you will be responsible for contacting new Lightspeed's customers. You'll manage all post-sales onboarding activities and to maintain early stage customer satisfaction. Also, you will deal with customers in a technology-based environment. The ideal candidate will not be afraid of a fast-paced, high-energy environment. 

As a Customer Success Associate intern, you will be responsible to contact our new customers, to welcome them and offer them an Orientation session with one of our Product Specialists. These conversations typically include a brief overview of what the Orientation session will cover and answer any additional questions the client may have in order for them to better prepare themselves to begin using our Products. 

 

You will be learning to:

Manage Interactions Post-Sale

  • Handle incoming emails/chats from Sales;
  • Reach out to the clients via telephone or email;
  • Book the orientation sessions in the appropriate calendars: Retail/OnSite/Web Store/eCom/Resto;
  • Leave voicemails and/or send emails to clients who are unavailable;
  • Properly notate cases in Salesforce in order to track follow-ups with clients.

 

Manage Individual Queue

  • Address any Overdue cases as well as Today's cases;
  • Contact customers and attempt to book a session;
  • Manage changes in bookings via their Salesforce case and the Acuity calendar software;
  • Up to 5-6 attempts made with clients in order to book these sessions;
  • Mindful of one’s own conversion rate – scheduled sessions vs. completed sessions;
  • Mindful of the changing Customer Success targets.

 

Manage the Team’s Queue

  • Review OB&C Unassigned Cases view;
  • Continue to contact clients in order to book sessions;
  • Manage changes in bookings via their Salesforce case and the Acuity calendar software;
  • Create and Manage tasks for clients who are not booked.


It's great if you:

  • Speak Dutch on a native level and are very fluent in English;
  • Have a degree in marketing or business, or an equivalent degree and/or experience;
  • Are able to thrive in a competitive environment and execute tasks within short timelines;
  • Are results-driven, metrics-oriented, and resourceful;
  • Have passion for people and technology;
  • Have a strong attention to detail;
  • Have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
  • Have excellent telephone manner;
  • Have strong presentation skills;
  • Have open availability.

 

It is even better if you also have:

  • Fluency in French;
  • Knowledge of Mac OS X and iOS.
