Description & Requirements

The Graphic Designer will collaborate with the National Office Design team at Forvis Mazars to create visually compelling designs for various media and creative deliverables, including advertising, brochures, publications, posters, presentations, and social media graphics, while ensuring the consistent application of the Forvis Mazars global brand. The ability to utilize their design expertise to solve visual challenges and generate on-brand solutions is essential. The Graphic Designer must be able to self-manage assigned projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment. They will work independently and directly with internal stakeholders, providing brand guidance and direction. This role requires open, client-centric communication and collaboration with Marketing & Business Development staff to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines. The Graphic Designer must be innovative, solution-oriented, and capable of shifting between self-directed and collaborative teamwork.

The Graphic Designer must show strong attention to detail, produce work that meets brand standards, and efficiently handle multiple tasks. The role also requires ongoing learning and staying up to date with design technologies, AI, and trends.

What You Will Do:

  • Works independently to incorporate client needs, marketing strategies, and business goals into on-brand design deliverables.
  • Collaborates with the Creative Director and other team members to ensure consistent brand style through all projects.
  • Proactively pitches ideas and new concepts to leaders in the spirit of continual evolution.
  • Communicates effectively with marketers and other internal clients to understand project objectives and help them achieve their goals through relevant, on-brand design solutions.
  • Manages time effectively to simultaneously work on multiple projects to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Exhibits a desire for continuous growth and development. Welcomes constructive criticism and coaching and consistently applies feedback.
  • Maintains our team-based process and organization; is able to ideate efficiencies and solutions as needed.
  • Uses resources to stay current in the design industry, including brand research, concepting, and Adobe software capabilities and update, including Adobe's AI features.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1 year or more of relevant experience
  • Experience with branding in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (including animating content and graphics)
  • Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) including AI features
  • B2B experience
  • Experience with print and static digital design
  • Demonstrated expertise in the elements and principles of design as well as layout, typography, color, visual communication, and brand systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience using Workfront to manage creative projects, organize design workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams

PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS

Showcase a variety of high-quality projects that highlight your capabilities, creative process, and problem-solving skills. Project types include branding, print materials (i.e., brochures, posters, and logos), and digital content (i.e., social media).

In addition to your portfolio, candidates should provide branding samples in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for the interview. The PowerPoint samples should include examples of content creation and graphic animation.
