We are looking for a highly talented Senior Linux Software Engineer to join our unique Embedded & Optimizations team that put the foundations for new products that are part of Applied Materials systems.

Our Group

The Embedded & Optimization team has a significant role in developing our next technological solutions.

We are in charge of bringing up the HW of these new solutions and squeezing all the juice out of it.

Along with a lot for teamwork, developers in the team also work closely with HW, FPGA, SW and Algo developers

What you'll be doing:

  • By joining our unique Embedded & Optimizations you will plan, design and implement software of our future devices and features.
  • Your software will be aware of HW on one hand, and will integrate with high-level SW on the other hand (Using modern protocols such as GRPC)
  • As a member of this core team you will make important technical decisions to ensure the scalability and performance of our applications through code and solid architecture, while being surrounded by a strong technical team

What you should have?

  • OOP experience (C++, Python)
  • Significant Linux user-space experience.
  • Strong debug capabilities, self-learning skills, ability to deep dive into unfamiliar areas.
  • Team player as well as being able to take full ownership and work independently.
  • 5+ years of experience in SW development.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree
