Job Description

Main Role

  1. Data management activities
  • Strengthen routine monitoring through the use of data to inform project priority areas.
  • Quarterly data triangulation from various sources for all project sites.
  • Provide technical M&E support to project sites through DRM and coordination meetings.
  • Compilation and validation of project data using ViiV BTP DHIS2 platform.
  • Extract and verify data from project’s platform and provide feedback on quality issues to other partners and to supported project sites.
  • Support project reporting and meeting presentations with key stakeholders.
  • Support development and use of project dashboard to inform the project
  1. Program Optimization Activities
  • Organize DRM to identify implementation gaps using project data.
  • Support site to design and implements QI activities to optimize project performance in all priority areas.
  1. Coordination/System strengthening
  • Participate in all in-country partner meetings
  • Organize quarterly coordination and data review meeting regrouping all consortium partners to review project performance.
  • Support the various Health districts within the project scope to implement and evaluate the district approach for Pediatric and adolescent HIV.
  • Work with all partners to support semi-annual as well as annual project report.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Results-based management (RBM)
  • Monitoring M&E Framework (LogFrames, Theory of change)
  • Electronic and paper-based Data collection
  • Data and statistical Analysis (Qualitative and Quantitative data)
  • Data visualization and performance monitoring (Power BI, Excel, Tableau…)
  • Capacity building & Training
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge on UNICEF service Delivery framework and UN systems
  • Fluency in French, and working knowledge in English.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in statistics, informatics or public health;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the area of monitoring and evaluation and research;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the health sector;
  • Ability to travel domestically in Cameroon approximately 50% of the time.
