How You Will Make an Impact:

Collaborate with Sr. Director of Corporate Facilities/Real Estate, other Corporate Facilities team members, and company stakeholders to implement real estate asset strategic objectives. Assists in defining real estate requirements for departmental and line of business needs.

Conducts transaction analyses and creates recommendation packages for executive management decisioning. 

Manages, monitors, and reports progress of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, lease/rent commencements, lease options, lease renewals and other critical real estate portfolio dates and timeframes. 

Creates and distributes real estate transaction portfolio and project reporting to executive management. 

Under the direction of Sr. Director of Corporate Facilities/Real Estate, timely negotiates purchase and sale contracts, commercial lease agreements, renewals/extensions, and other amendments in support of company objectives. 

Coordinates brokerage services and other business partner resources for real estate activity. Facilitates listing/representation agreements and commission agreements with brokerage firms.

Manages business partner activities and deliverables, such as market surveys.

Assists in resolving landlord and tenant disputes. 

Reviews critical dates, evaluates options, and assists in determining strategic direction.

Receives and responds to real estate related notifications and inquiries.

Validates lease abstracts. 

Helps ensure accuracy and integrity of data and documentation in company’s real estate portfolio management system. 

Respond to internal inquiries regarding lease language or interpretation. 

Coordinates legal review of purchase, sale, and lease agreements, and disposition closing documents. Routes documents for approvals and signatures, as needed. 

Prepare and deliver lease extensions, termination letters and other legal notices.

Point of contact regarding real estate projects for company Finance team in preparation of budgets, forecasts, savings analyses, profitability models, and other relevant financial requirements. 

Perform administrative duties required during each stage of a real estate transaction from broker engagement to closing.

This position requires some travel, about 15% of the time.

Who You are:

3+ years commercial real estate transaction experience or bachelor’s degree in real estate and 1+ years commercial real estate transaction experience 

Real Estate degree preferred but not required. 

Ability to understand and interpret complex commercial lease agreements and purchase and sale agreements.

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Relationship building skills at all levels internally and externally.

Basic understanding of how to review, analyze, and interpret financial analysis templates including cash flow projections, NPV (net present value), and/or IRR (internal rate of return)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skilled with Google and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines
