It's an amazing time to be working at Box, especially for product managers. We are a big enough company to have the ability to execute large-scale deliverables, and small enough that you can play an important role in that delivery. With millions of users on our platform, we have an opportunity to ship products that will change the way that people work. It's with that backdrop that we're hiring a security-oriented product manager for our world-class Mobile Team. Mobile exploded for consumer products in the last 5+ years, but we're just scratching the surface in the enterprise. Box is in a great position to lead and define how the enterprise mobile space will unfold because our products are tightly embedded with the world's best companies, which includes over 60% of the Fortune 500.
Why the team needs you
Security/control is a major issue for mobile adoption in a world where many companies have bring-your-own-device policies. It's a complicated area that involves the OS players, independent EMM/MAM vendors and our own product security features. And with this, of course, comes the challenge of continuing to make our user experiences great. We're looking for someone to come in and take the lead on the mobile security front and who can also serve as a resource for the rest of the team. With over 20% of our customer base leveraging and requiring EMM solutions, a substantial portion of our business depends on our strategy and execution in this area.
Why you need Box
We are a product-driven company and our product managers are highly visible and engaged across the business. On one day, you'll be talking to the IT team that drives hundreds of thousands of Box users at a Fortune 500 company. The next, you'll be working with cutting edge vendors and partners to brainstorm on the future of mobile.
Every business in the world is looking to modernize the way that they work. As the leader in cloud content management, Box is one of the best positioned to help enterprises transform how people work together.
Who you are
You're a technically savvy, detail oriented product person. You care deeply about how your products materially make your customers' lives better. And you understand the business and the analytics/metrics that drive success. You bring that ethos to work every day, where you work collaboratively with design, analytics, and engineering team members to bring amazing products to market.

- You've got 2-4 years under your belt as a product manager where you've worked at a top-tier consumer or enterprise software company
- You've got substantive mobile product or engineering experience
- You've got experience with mobile security: you're familiar with MDM, MAM, EMM and how these concepts relate to mobile app building
- You have a technical background (CS degree preferred)
