About the role: We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and creative individual to join our team. As a Marketing Executive (SEA) you will be works hand in hand with our Regional Marketing Director and Marketing Managers for PTE and ELL in South East Asia (SEA), Regional Campaign teams and Country Sales Managers to accelerate our market performance, with a focus on driving the growth of the Pearson Test of English (PTE) and English Language Learning (ELL) in South Korea.

As a (job title), you’ll be responsible for:

  • Support delivery of the local market, marketing plan. Work in partnership with the SEA Marketing Managers for PTE and ELL as well as the Sales Managers to translate our global marketing strategy into a localised Korean brand and digital marketing plan.
  • Bring our campaigns to life in your markets. Commission and manage any local market research to unlock customer insights, identify trends and preferences
  • Be our sales team champion. Create or localise global sales toolkit and taking the lead on local case study development.
  • Put data at the heart of what we do. Gain, share and use local customer insight, competitor and industry trends to improve what we do
  • Help build a winning Marketing team. Champion assigned product/solutions to populate specific know-how and ensure teamwork. Actively participate in the global/cross geography projects aiming at creating global campaigns to be later trans-created locally

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent preferred, you may also benefit from holding a professional Marketing qualification.
  • Marketing communications expertise and excellent copywriting skills, both in Korean language and English
  • Track record of developing and optimising campaigns, with an understanding on the country landscape.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient across in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint with the ability to produce professional and high-quality presentations.
  • Excellent relationship builder with both internal and external teams. Travel readiness for up to 15% of time in the region
