Role: Content Developer

Title: Information Development Engineer 4

Here’s your opportunity to make your mark and provide user assistance through documentation for the networking industry’s most exciting AI-driven networking company. We are looking for a dynamic content creator who can adapt quickly to new challenges, develop and maintain relationships with SMEs, and create visually rich and informative technical documentation. Success means assisting users with initial product adoption, providing clear guidance through new features, and securing customer loyalty.

Our fun and skilled team, Product Adoption Content and Education, is focused on creating highly technical content including user guides, training courses, reference content, and in-product help. This content helps our customers deploy, configure, and maintain mission-critical computer networks.

The ideal candidate is a persistent self-starter with strong collaborative skills, who enjoys continuous learning and can push through barriers to get things done.

Responsibilities:

  • Create various types of technical content to assist our customers in the use of our AI-driven product solution suite.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining in-product content.
  • Produce a range of deliverables including various types of user-focused guides, some short-format copy, and more.
  • Build, maintain, and leverage cross-functional relationships to understand new features.
  • Follow style and process guidelines.
  • Assist with content curation and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience developing topic-based technical documentation or UX content in a fast-paced, agile, and dynamic environment.
  • Proven expertise with complex technology, preferably in the networking industry (Wi-Fi, routing, switching, security, etc.)
  • Ability to craft broad and deep user-focused online content that helps customers install software and hardware, solve problems, and work effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to make progress with less-than-complete information.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Communication, Journalism, English, or related degree, or applicable experience. 
  • 5 + years of relevant work experience
