Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in people management
  • Experience with camera 3A/ISP, Computer Vision, or machine learning techniques
  • Experience in image quality evaluation.
  • Experience coding in C++.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, technical related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of Experience in people management
  • Experience with sensor characteristics, optics, and image signal processing of the mobile imaging system.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for photography.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an Auto-focus tuning team for the Google camera products.
  • Tune the Auto-focus algorithm, support Pixel phones, and continue to monitor quality and innovations with Pixel cameras.
  • Design and lead Auto-tune project to scale the tuning efforts.
  • Engage with different sensor, module, and key component vendors, investigate and incorporate the new technology into Google products.
  • Work cross-team to define next generation camera hardware specs and SoC designs.
