As the Controller, you are responsible for the accounting operations of the corporate office, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of a world class system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA preferred
- 7 years experience in a corporate accounting role
- Prior experience implementing new ERP and A/P systems is helpful
Responsibilities:
- Treasury
- Administration of all bank accounts
- New account applications including merchant accounts
- Corporate governance
- Centralize all entity formation documents (IRS letters, dbas, operating agreements)
- Quarterly/Annual state filing coordination
- Business licenses for all locations
- Develop consistent internal controls
- Accounting
- Research local tax regulations
- Audit and tax liaison
- Create and maintain companywide accounting manual and help align all operations
- Assist with valuation projects (purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing)
- Provide support to divisional controllers
- Account Payable and Payroll Departments
- Lead accounts payable department with one supervisor, nine hourly and $100M+ in annual vendor spend.
- Lead payroll department with two managers and one administrator, responsible for 3,000 teammates. One third of all teammates are in California, with significantly more regulatory oversight.
- M&A
- Assist with M&A projects and related integrations
- Support VP of Finance
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the VP Finance
