THE ROLE

Data and data analytics are vital to supply chain management, visibility, agility, and resilience. Supply Chain data Analyst will work to define, shape, and operationalize centralized Supply Chain data governance practices for consistent, secure, and synchronized data availability throughout Supply Chain business functions in accordance with Supply Chain data policies, along with driving data integrity through onboarding and enablement projects for new business models/supply chain initiatives. The person will be required to be a Supply Chain expert to help design and architect data governance processes for managing the supply chain. In this role collaboration with individuals across organizations and levels are required to implement complex business processes and solutions. The person will also leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions and eventually help shape the supply chain team to become actionable insights providers for supply chain management.

The ideal person for this role has an exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills, analytical mindset and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to work, shape and lead a cross-functional newly formed team. They also have proven ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of supply chain improvement focus. They have a strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Custodian for Supply Chain data integrity, ensuring that the data is properly defined and used with a deep understanding of data governance principles and processes
  • Define and establish measurements. Establish process control and assess conformance to data quality related KPIs
  • Drive compliance to established standards and metrics. Define and establish measurements. Establish process control and assess conformance to data quality related KPIs
  • Review and analyze Weekly Supply Chain Planning System Plan outputs for consistency and accuracy. Ideate and specify improvements to tools and systems and implement those improvements
  • Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
  • Evaluate supply chain performance gaps, develop root cause analysis and plan and implement supply chain optimization projects
  • Help foster trusting relationships with business partners

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Solid experience working in the supply chain operations and technology space including Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Data and Analytics
  • Relevant experience in Supply Chain Data Governance, Data management and Data Quality
  • Experience working with an advanced planning solution like Kinaxis, blue yonder, SAP IBP
  • Semi-Conductor Industry Experience is a plus
  • Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a team environment
  • Analytical aptitude while able to maintain a broader perspective, identifies and evaluates opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration.
  • An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn
  • Capable of strong individual contribution and influence across non-direct reporting teams.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Information Management or other relevant Engineering or Management degree
