About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Loan Documentation Manager...

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop Loan Documentation team of individual contributors with moderate to high complexity and risk in Loan Documentation functional area
  • Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Loan Documentation functional area
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Loan Documentation functional area
  • Provide direction to the Contracts Management or Documentation functional areas with direct impact to companywide objectives within the Commercial Distribution Finance business
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of Loan Documentation team to meet business objectives
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functional areas with moderate to high complexity within scope of responsibility
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers, as well as interact directly with external customers
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Loan Documentation functional area
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications, US:

  • University degree in Business or MBA
  • Prior experience of more than 5 years in Commercial banking.
  • Knowledge in quality assurance, strong understanding on various loan types and products, agreement and documents
  • Leadership experience
  • Working Knowledge of Credit Products life cycle specially on commercial loan products
  • Well versed with Credit Agreements/Approval Documents
  • Validate information on various SORs with exhaustive authoritative documentation
  • Good understanding of key Credit Terms; Credit Extensions and Modifications, Interest Rates, Advance Rate, Loan limits, fees etc.
  • Strong knowledge in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
