Field Service Engineer

Located in the Ahmedabad city to support Gujrat State and western region.

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to provide high-quality onsite customer support and represent the face of the company to our customers.

Conducting routine maintenance, installation, certification and repair of Beckman Coulter products at customer sites, including calibration, and mechanical and electrical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts and production of Installation/Operation Quality documents.

Diagnoses system failures and determines the most cost-effective solution. Escalates complex issues to a greater level of technical support or quality reporting system.

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, this role is instrumental in providing a high level of customer support, requiring close interaction and good working relationships with both our customers and colleagues within an assigned territory, with travel to other regions as required.

Working closely with other internal departments to build relationships that result in timely implementation, installation, and pro-live support.

Your Responsibility’s

  • Installations, Preventative Maintenance, Operational Qualifications.
  • Responding to customer support calls within your assigned territory and escalating complex issues as required to ensure a timely fix
  • Diagnosing system failures and determining the most cost-effective resolution
  • Ensuring Preventative Maintenance Inspections and modifications are completed within the specified time frames.

  • Drive to continuously seek to add value to the services provided and achieve first time fixes, leading to reduced breakdown times, lower costs to the customer, thus enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • IT literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Office products & confidence with other IT applications

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering
  • Min 3 years experience in the same capacity in a MNC environment
  • Knowledge of lab exposure or experience
