Responsibilities

This role is an exciting opportunity to approach engineering system in a unique context, where you will be able to learn and extend your capabilities in a multi-disciplinary working environment.  It provides a unique insight into the structure-processing-properties relationship of biocomposite/fiberboard products.

 

  • Assists in the fabrication of lab scale fiberboard products using various types of binders
  • Study the curing behavior of thermoset resin
  • Carrying out experiments, analyzing results and reporting on conclusions, both in written reports and verbally in meetings.
  • Execute routine laboratory maintenance efforts

Qualifications

  • Senior under grad student in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Perform basic equipment and instrumentation set up and operation.
  • Have a strong understanding of core engineering principles
  • Demonstrable strong health & safety awareness
