We identify, incubate, and launch tech-enabled products and experiences that expand Mattel’s reach beyond traditional toy categories. From AI-powered play to creator platforms like Roblox and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), Future Lab is building the next generation of digital experiences that connect fans with our brands in new and meaningful ways.

As the execution arm of Future Lab, the team transforms validated concepts into successful, scalable digital products that extend Mattel’s brands into new and emerging forms of play. Job Description
The Opportunity:
As a Senior Product Manager in Mattel’s Future Lab Product Studio, you will play a key role in redefining the future of play across creator platforms. You’ll lead the charge in shaping how millions of players create, play, and connect through Mattel’s worlds, bridging beloved brands with the next generation of players and creators across Roblox, Fortnite, and beyond.
You will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and ongoing performance of Mattel’s UGC gaming portfolio. As part of the Product Studio, you will transform validated concepts into market-ready, high-performing games and live experiences. You will define product roadmaps, establish success metrics, and ensure each game meets its creative, engagement, and commercial objectives.
Partnering with Producers, Designers, Analysts, and external development studios, you will help guide LiveOps strategy, product optimization, and the continued evolution of Mattel’s UGC titles after launch. In this role, you will also manage a small but high-impact team, including a Marketing Manager and a Data and Performance Analyst, to ensure successful go-to-market execution and data-driven product optimization. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, strong collaboration across internal and external teams, and a passion for creating meaningful play experiences within creator-driven ecosystems.
