Marketing Coordinator, Niche Retail

We’re looking for a motivated “Marketing Coordinator, Niche Retail” with a hands-on mentality to join the Luxury US Orveda skincare team. This role will report to the Brand Manager and is integral part of the execution of short and long-term brand priorities. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual looking to gain experience and exposure working for a priority brand and transforming Coty into a Skincare Powerhouse.

“The Marketing Coordinator, Niche Retail” will work with the affiliates to deliver robust, innovative, on-brand and high-quality launch and activations programs.

“The Marketing Coordinator, Niche Retail” will report primarily into the Brand Marketing Manager with a strong collaboration with the Brand Marketing Director. Key stakeholders include commercial cross functional teams (sales, ops, media, merchandising, etc.), and global marketing counterpart.

“The Marketing Coordinator, Niche Retail” is a well-rounded commercial / marketing professional with experience in the skincare industry, a background in selective distribution preferably and license experience to lead and evolve the brands’ presence, aligned to the broader global strategies and objectives of the business.”

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the B2B Shopify Brand Store (setting up promos, new bundles, etc.).
  • Assisting in visual merchandising and planogram assortments for niche boutiques or retailors
  • Assisting in the development and execution of plans for the US to reach SOM, Sales and Financial targets defined for the Brand. 
  • Flawless launch of newness including 360 go-to-market campaigns, with distribution focus on Niche retail.
  • Maximizing execution of promotional support for the portfolio: developing complete programs for key consumption periods (KCPs) with performance analysis to maximize future executions.
  • Creating and delivering retailer presentations to obtain their buy-in as needed in partnership with Sell-In and Trade Marketing.
  • Preparing with manager’s guidance forecasting updates, synthesis / analysis.
  • Partnering with cross-functional departments to ensure successful delivery of local market needs and effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Managing communication and alignment of promotional / non-promotional programs
  • Input to status with Global marketing.
  • Input to cross-functional Initiative meetings.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the marketing plans via
  • Portfolio / brands performance analysis and specific programs deep-dive.
  • Other on-going analysis: consumer trends, consumer insights, category dynamics, pricing and competitive knowledge.
  • Assist team in budget management such as opening POs and invoice tracking.
  • Assist GM and broader marketing team on other select initiatives/deliverables, including strategy, ad hoc analysis, etc.
  • Update and maintain key team documents related to asset management, price, cost of goods, and product shipments.
  • Own and manage team product requests to support cross-functional needs and programming.
  • Manage ad hoc product and business requests from Global and local teams to ensure flawless program executions.
  • Ad hoc competitive and market study on business needs.
  • Lead setup of meeting rooms in ESB for key meetings and coordinate with Sales.
  • Collaborate with EComm team to ensure best-in-class digital brand exposure.
  • Conduct seasonally audit on brand’s product pages with key retailers.
  • Support asset management and ensure timely delivery of copy and images.

QUALIFICATIONS

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

  • College degree required; luxury beauty and/or brand marketing related experience is a plus.
  • At least one (1) year of related marketing/communication experience (internships included).
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to take ownership of projects.

Desirable:

  • Team player with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Front-end Shopify management experience.
  • Merchandising management experience
  • Passionate about the beauty industry.
  • Clear demonstration of team commitment.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and speaks their mind.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written).

Base Salary Range: $25-40 per hour
