POSITION OVERVIEW

 

Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking an energetic and highly detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator who will manage and oversee all Medicaid insurance authorizations for members. In this position you will assist in the maintenance and coordination of daily operational, data entry, and administrative functions to ensure that all billing needs are appropriately met. The successful candidate will also contribute to supporting continuous improvement of day to day operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Organize and audit billable units for authorized services under Medicaid and other insurance plans
  • Support Accounts Receivable with the collections process by ensuring members have current and correct authorizations on file
  • Perform daily follow-up phone calls and emails to case managers, managers, and directors regarding authorization discrepancies
  • Assist Accounts Receivable to get corrections and resolve any pending issues with service codes, modifiers, or provider names in order to rebill denied claims
  • Coordinate with Support Coordinators to inform them of any important changes noted on the authorizations
  • Create and/or receive various corporate reports, completing necessary actions by specific deadlines. Regular use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products
  • Manage and disburse incoming faxes and emails
  • Attend meetings and trainings as required
  • Assist with administrative duties including online timesheets, mass mailings, answering phones, filing paperwork, and data entry

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • AA Degree or higher in accounting, business, or related field preferred
  • Highly organized self-starter with strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Maintain a strong initiative and solution-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency with computer skills to include Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent mathematical, written, and oral skills
  • Problem solver with a positive attitude
  • Able to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Must be people-oriented with excellent social and interpersonal skills
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
