What you will do:

In this role, you report to the APAC Operational Excellence Leader and as one of the key focus areas in Operational Excellence, you will be responsible to program lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) across APAC. You will work with the P&Ls to drive operational discipline in S&OP across multiple line of businesses (LOBs). You will ensure the organization is on track for excellence in forecasting, planning and S&OP execution by having the right process and governance. You will coordinate the consolidation of S&OP data for governance and performance management, ensuring excellence in execution while also partner with the P&Ls and the APAC team to manage backlog, forelog, materials and resources risks identified along the way. This position has high visibility and will work closely with many levels of the organization from senior leaders to frontline managers.

How you will do it:

  • Develop and evolve the S&OP process for APAC, partnering with key personnels in the region to drive alignment and execution of the S&OP program
  • Lead and facilitate the weekly / monthly / quarterly S&OP process with finance, sales and operations
  • Enable and drive effective forecasting, planning and S&OP execution discipline in APAC
  • Track and analyse demand plan, forelog, backlog, order release and execution to ensure balance and sufficiency across the S&OP cycle, facilitating materials and resources planning in the region
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities related to forelog and backlog sufficiency and timing, lead time and resources. Partner with various parts of the organization to execute mitigation plans
  • Develop and use trends and insights to forecast potential risks and to develop scenario planning
  • Consolidate and syntehsize S&OP data as required for Global & APAC reporting, supporting the Operational Excellence Leader on data consolidation, analysis and generation of actionable insights
  • Work with the APAC team as required to drive operational discipline through process deployment, governance and capability building

What are we looking for:

  • S&OP / Supply Chain Planning experience
  • Experience in managing multi level stakeholders
  • Experience leading and leveraging resources in a multi-region, cross-functional and diverse setting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
  • High level of organisational and time management skills, comfortable in dealing with large datasets, and to a certain extent, manage ambiguities
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently
  • Flexible to adapt to ever changing environments
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree
  • Competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
