Duties and responsibilities:
- Process several international outsourced payrolls.
- Ensure understanding of payroll compliance for the countries in scope.
- Execute payments of salaries, taxes and social charges for the countries assigned on a timely and monthly basis.
- Ensure correct payroll treatment of equities’ grants and exercises.
- Review and update monthly accruals.
- Book payroll entries in the accounting system.
- Reconcile B/S accounts at month’s end.
- Prepare analysis of general ledger accounts for audit and cost analysis purposes.
- Ensure compliance with the company policies as well as SOX and other control procedures.
- Work on specific payroll projects as assigned by the Manager and/or Director of Human Resources
- Maintain and protect employee information and payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Payroll/HR department of an International Company, ideally with experience in EMEA and/or Middle East countries
- Good accounting knowledge is a plus
- Details and numbers oriented
- Well organized and focus on deadlines
- Appropriate handling of confidential information.
- Pro-active; hands on mentality; motivated; team player
- Fluent in English and local language; any other language an advantage
