We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Customer Onboarding Manager.

Principal responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the CDD process within HCBS borking business, manage the CDD and Enhanced Due Diligence related issues in accordance with relevant CDD procedures.
  • Perform comprehensive KYC reviews on new and existing customers in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct CDD checks, including identity verification, beneficial ownership assessment and risk profiling.
  • Support the client facing team for the onboarding of new clients.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, such as Trade Advisory, Compliance, and Legal teams, to support business in terms of any KYC related issues and/or ongoing projects.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of KYC records, including maintaining customer files and updating relevant system.
  • Ensuring that all day-to-day matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • FATCA, CRS – source and arrange to validate client tax documents when required.
  • Support operation manuals update, UAT and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree holder with major in Banking and Finance or other related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years solid experience in KYC/ CDD/ Customer on-boarding or other AML related in banking/ brokerage sector, with managerial experience in leading a team
  • A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of English and Cantonese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and quality deliverables

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.

Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
