Shift Details: Possible hours between 7am – 5pm. Approximately 1 day on-site per week for training and administrative tasks.
Job Summary:
Responsible for coordinating the activities of Insurance Follow Up team, assisting the Insurance Follow-Up Supervisor, acting as primary contact for insurance follow-up questions, and promoting patient satisfaction. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 5 years of business office experience in billing, customer service, or collections in a healthcare environment is required.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in related field is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Maintains knowledge of payer specific appeal procedures. Maintains knowledge of payer denial reason and remark codes. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
