As a Customer Collaboration Specialist, you will play a central role in managing end-to-end operational cooperation with major retail customers, ensuring high product availability and seamless execution across the supply chain. You will work closely with customer headquarters and cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily customer orders and act as the primary point of contact for the headquarters of key retail partners
  • Coordinate promotional volumes and additional demand in close cooperation with Planners and the Commercial team.
  • Handle delivery compliance issues (e.g., late deliveries, damaged pallets), perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead regular operational and strategic meetings with customers, providing updates, performance reviews and risk assessments.
  • Negotiate operational arrangements and SLA parameters with customers, maintaining a calm, balanced and partnership-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to align on commercial activities, resolve operational bottlenecks and jointly support customer initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and personal ways of working, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Dutch and English (Dutch as the primary language) – essential for daily customer communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in FMCG Supply Chain, preferably in Customer Collaboration, Demand Planning, Logistics or Customer Service.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Economics, Commercial or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to lead data-driven conversations with customers in a professional manner.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to cooperate effectively with Sales and other internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-driven attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and ownership of own work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and planning/ERP systems, preferably SAP or JDA.
