Management Analyst II

The Management Analyst II will provide project management support by independently managing a variety of projects across multiple departments, ensuring timely stakeholder communication and consistent alignment with project goals. They will conduct advanced financial, quantitative, and managerial analyses to support the organization’s decision-making processes.

Additionally, the Management Analyst II will contribute to policy development by assisting in the formulation of policies and procedures and recommending improvements based on analytical findings and best practices. They will participate in the development and administration of department budgets, including gathering data, analyzing expenditures, and making recommendations for budget adjustments.

The role also includes preparing comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate study findings, project progress, and key recommendations to management and stakeholders. The Management Analyst II will collaborate closely with other departments and external agencies to coordinate efforts and exchange information relevant to ongoing projects and organizational initiatives.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Must possess a verifiable Department of Defense Secret Clearance
  • Must possess an undergraduate degree in public administration, business administration, or related field; engineering fields are also acceptable
  • Five (5) or more years’ experience in a management analyst role or a similar position in the government demonstrating increasing responsibility and complexity of assignments
  • Must possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
