The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 3PM - 11:30PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for department indicators and providing clear direction to department to meet department production objectives.

2. Understand upstream and downstream departments to ensure accurate communication and appropriate product flow.

3. Monitor employee performance, regularly provide employee feedback, empower, mentor and coach employees, write and deliver performance reviews, and assist employees in setting goals.

4. Responsible for driving employee engagement and positively and accurately communicating change.

5. Responsible for assessing employee training needs and providing/overseeing training.

6. Actively and effectively address personnel issues and settle differences equitably and productively.

7. Create, update and ensure control of department work instructions and reports.

8. Provide input into staffing and capital needs through the collection and reporting of data.

9. Promote safety standards to others and assist in implementing safety initiatives.

10. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

11. Understand. Create. Simplify.

12. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of supervisory experience

Demonstrated ability to model SEL Values to others

Proven ability to communicate professionally, respectfully and openly to a diverse audience.

Proven ability to prioritize, organize and delegate work; intervene to remove obstacles as needed.

Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and product flow for up and downstream departments.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and department's business systems (Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, SQS, etc.)

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Background check results satisfactory to SEL

Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications

College degree (BS or BA)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and department's business systems (Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, SQS, etc.)

Pay Range Data

New hires generally start between $76,050 and $83,316 per year. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
