Investor Relations Analyst, Lead

As the Lead Investor Relations Analyst, you are responsible for supporting the Vice President of Investor Relations and senior leadership in all aspects of the company’s investor relations program. Your responsibilities include quarterly earnings, investor targeting, meeting preparation and logistics for meetings with financial community, peer competitive intelligence, collection and assembly of analyst research and estimates, website and social media updates, posting of corporate press releases, annual report and financial analysis.

Location: Davidson, NC

Salary: $95,000 - $132,000

Your Challenge:

  • Assists in the preparation of materials and logistics related to the quarterly earnings release process (news release, conference call presentation and script, Q&As and more). Manages all logistics related to the earnings webcast. Assists in the development of quarterly Q&A documents including the collection of division information. Manages linking of all slides in Q&A PPT document and researches any outstanding questions. (25%)
  • Researches, collects and analyzes financial information, including analysis of peer competitor and industry performance and developments, as well as various return characteristics or other financial benchmarking metrics. Manages the quarterly collection of peer earnings results and guidance compared to CW results and provides written reports for senior management. (20%)
  • Coordinates the logistics, organization and assembly of notes for all external IR meetings, including conferences, institutional investor visits, investor/analyst days, webcasts and plant tours. Responds to investor inquiries as appropriate. Works directly with the VP, Investor Relations to assist in the creation of speaker presentations, including content, messaging, flow and formatting. (15%)
  • Assists the VP, IR in investor targeting efforts. Researches and analyzes investor ownership of CW proxy peers / earnings compounders / aspirational peers to identify potential CW targets. (15%)
  • Assists in the development of the Annual Report including discussions about themes, key messages and document organization. Works closely with the design firm, manages all logistics, coordinates all internal interviews (as needed) and research images necessary to ensure on-time completion of the document. (10%)
  • Monitors and analyzes analyst consensus financial models. Manages relationship with stock surveillance vendor to provide weekly and as needed updates on large shareholder movements to VP, Investor Relations. (10%)
  • Manages the IR portion of the CW website. Determines timings of posts, makes recommendations on content changes and works closely with the website and marketing teams. Supports various corporate communication initiatives including public and media relations, CEO interview requests, social media, and video development. (10%)

What You Bring:

  • 7-10 years’ related experience with at least 2 years’ experience in corporate investor relations role preferred
  • Ability to create sophisticated financial models and presentation materials.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise; ability to synthesize financial, technical and market data.
  • Exceptional writing and communications skills. Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, corporate strategy, and public company reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex information concisely to a variety of audiences, including investors, analysts, and senior leaders.
  • Experience developing strategic presentations/documents and analyzing key financial metrics, valuation scenarios, and stock market trends.
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Steller organizational skills.
