CNC Machinist – Horizontal Milling (Makino Systems)

Shifts Available: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, Weekend Shift (Day & Night)

Pay Range: $28–$40/hr (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists with experience in Horizontal Milling Systems (Makino) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints, set up and operate CNC equipment, and perform precision quality checks on finished products.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Set up and operate Horizontal CNC/MMC machines
• Perform quality checks and ensure accuracy of finished products
• Make machine adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Hands‑on experience with CNC horizontal milling machines
• Ability to perform changeovers and machine operations
• Skilled use of micrometers and precision measuring tools

Additional Qualifications

• Prior experience in machine operating
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and layouts

This is a Permanent position based out of Savage, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $76960.00/yr.
