The pharmacy unit plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. The unit is responsible for dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, maintaining comprehensive medication inventory and control, including narcotics and controlled substances. This includes selecting, calculating, measuring, preparing (both sterile and non-sterile), packaging, labeling, charging, and crediting various pharmacy products like intravenous medications. In addition, the pharmacy ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should be a High School graduate or equivalent. PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification within 1 year of hire or actively pursuing certification (as determined by pharmacy management & not to exceed an additional 6 months) or Licensed Practical Nurse.
