Role/Responsibilities:

Are you passionate about financial modeling and system optimization? We are seeking a Business System Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. The analyst will be responsible for developing, improving, and tuning financial models along with providing technical support on a new EPM Cloud platform. The analyst will be part of a larger team providing analytical data insights to the Finance organization.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and develop sophisticated financial models using VB.Net within the OneStream environment.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless project implementation, accurate data ingestion and solve any data issues.
  • Work closely with development and functional teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Perform version upgrades, system maintenance, and regular backups to optimize system performance.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and emerging technologies related to financial modeling.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to elevate the user experience.
  • Support QA efforts and contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and prepare comprehensive cutover and release plans to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Craft detailed Knowledge Base documents to facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Use JIRA as a repository for demand capacity tracking and activity progress. It contributes to IT audit and management reporting through accurate data capture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or other related fields.
  • Proficiency in VB.Net programming.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience with financial modeling tools (preferably OneStream).
  • Experience with tunning system performance and back-up.
  • Understanding of EPM architectural platform, security model, calculation functions, and business rules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with various IT project lifecycle is a plus.
  • Excel spreadsheet (must) skills along with experience in JIRA and ServiceNow platform is a plus.
