Accounting & Assurance Manager – Hybrid/Remote (Cherry Hill, NJ)

Soni’s Client, a growing CPA firm, is seeking an experienced Accounting & Assurance Manager to lead audits, reviews, and advisory engagements across diverse industries, including nonprofits and Employee Benefit Plans. This role offers visibility, client interaction, and leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting & Assurance Manager:

• Oversee and review audit, review, and compilation engagements, including single audits under Uniform Guidance.
• Maintain technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS, IRS Form 990, and industry-specific standards.
• Advise clients, boards, and executives to improve financial reporting, operations, and compliance.
• Mentor and coach managers, seniors, and associates.
• Support firm growth through client development, proposals, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements of the Accounting & Assurance Manager:

• CPA license; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting.
• 8+ years public accounting experience (assurance & advisory, nonprofit preferred).
• 7+ years management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience with Employee Benefit Plans (EBPs) a plus.

Preferred: Experience in manufacturing, charter schools, construction, professional services, tax provisions, or data analytics.

Compensation: $150,000 to $160,000 annually

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
