The Lean team supports the EUV Factory (EF) organization to drive operational excellence as a means to realize the business goals of the factory. Since early 2017, we have laid the foundation for creating a strong pull for Lean principles within EF. The EF staff has embraced concepts like the Hoshin Kanri, daily management, and structured problem solving, all supported by Lean leadership behavior. The current team (20 FTE) is a diverse group of professionals with extensive experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Lean, and Six Sigma, gained from leading companies in the automotive, aerospace, high-tech, medical and finance sectors. What unites us is the shared drive and passion for helping others transform into a Lean organization.
The NXE Lean Team is part of the EF Lean Team, within the EF Operational Excellence department. Our work includes daily management improvements, workplace organization (5S+1), quality improvements, strategy deployment, and project coaching. To help us take the next step in 5S+1 deployment and standardization, you will work on this internship assignment. Some of your tasks will therefore include:
