Associate/ AVP, Corporate Access (Investment Banking)

We are looking for an experienced candidate, primarily focused on Asean and North Asia, for our Corporate Access team in Singapore or Hong Kong. This person will facilitate interactions with Asean and North Asia unlisted and listed management teams, Jefferies analysts and our institutional investor base, by organizing and managing corporate access activities such as early look management roadshows, analyst PDIE, bookbuilding roadshows and other related activities.

Primary responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Work closely with the investment banking teams, equity sales team, research teams, corporate and institutional clients and external vendors across numerous events.
  • Day-to-day coordination and logistics support including meeting scheduling, meeting venues, flights, ground transport, hotel bookings, meal arrangements and event budgeting
  • Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate, institutional clients, investment banking team, sales team, research team and 3rd party vendors
  • Daily & weekly reporting to various stakeholders
  • Provide backup to other team members in Singapore and Hong Kong as need

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
  • Previous corporate access experience in the financial field, particularly with the investment banking divisions
  • Understands the investment banking landscape and how to support investment banking, sales, research, institutional clients, corporate clients and other internal stakeholders
  • Team oriented with ability to take ownership of various corporate access functions and prioritize effectively
  • Able to exhibit sound judgement and communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, with both internal and external parties including with high level VIP delegates
  • Possess a high degree of professionalism and poise when interacting with C-Suite, investors and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, including database and excel. Quick learner with regards to computer programs/software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple events and budgets at any one given time
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and under pressure
  • Team-orientated. Demonstrates respect, ability, and willingness to collaborate with teammates to ensure appropriate support and coverage.
