We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lease Advisory Surveyor to join our busy, professional, and sociable Scottish business. This is a position ideally for an individual at Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level, preferably with rent review and lease renewal experience, however training and mentorship is in our culture.

You will work across the industrial, office, and retail sectors with the opportunity to collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects. You will advise and transact on behalf of clients, including prestigious professional real estate investors and high quality corporate occupiers, as part of an experienced local and national team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals
• Carrying out property inspections and measurement surveys
• Using research and analytical skills to identify and interpret market rental evidence
• Advising and reporting to clients on rental values and strategy
• Conducting negotiations with landlords and tenants and their advisors
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Managing and prioritizing a busy caseload efficiently
• Building a network of internal and external contacts to support business development

Skills & Experience:

• MRICS qualified or on track to qualify
• Rent review and lease renewal experience is preferred, but general practice surveying experience will also be considered
• An analytical and commercial mindset with a willingness to learn
• An ability to form and justify opinions on property values
• Competency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
