As the Professional Indemnity Claims Lead, this role will see you lead a team managing a portfolio of professional indemnity claims delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll oversee workflow, coach and develop your team, and provide technical guidance on complex matters. With a strong focus on strategic claims and financial risk management, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping performance and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders. This is a permanent full-time role based in Naarm (Melbourne) or Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coach a team managing complex professional indemnity claims to achieve service and financial targets
  • Monitor workflow and team performance ensuring service excellence and proactive issue resolution
  • Provide technical guidance and act as the first point of escalation for complex or litigated claims
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support business objectives

What You'll Bring

  • Experience managing complex professional indemnity claims and delivering service excellence
  • Strong leadership capability with a passion for coaching and developing people
  • Technical expertise in claims including litigation support
  • Ability to manage workflow and meet performance targets in a dynamic environment
  • Solid understanding of financial metrics and reporting requirements
