What’s the role?

The Marketing Executive - Loyalty is responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation of our consumer loyalty programs, The Australian Plus and +Rewards. This role plays a key part in driving engagement and retention within our core subscription business. 

Key Responsibilities:

As the Marketing Executive - Loyalty your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

  • Day-to-day implementation of loyalty programs, including offer building, testing, and program reporting.
  • Customer Management System (CMS) and ensuring best practices.
  • Coordination of member events, including asset management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in managing partner relationships and development of post-campaign reporting.
  • Contributing to and implementing marketing communications strategies across various channels to drive program engagement and minimise churn.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal advice and program terms and conditions.
  • Measuring and reporting program results, and provide insights to drive strategy.
  • Acting as a customer champion, understanding member engagement drivers and pain points.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders from various disciplines.

Financial, Customer, Operations, and People Metrics:

  • Achievement of member engagement and retention KPIs.
  • Delivery of best-in-class customer and event experiences.
  • Programs delivered within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Contribution to a high-performing and accountable team culture.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related field.
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Experience in loyalty marketing, media, creative agency, financial services, or FMCG preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing and using customer data and CMS platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Excellent project management and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Google enterprise products and Adobe suite preferred.
  • Passion for news, current affairs, and the media industry.
