IT Customer Service Specialist

Are you a skilled and self-motivated Customer Service specialist? Do you enjoy taking calls and serving others by helping to solve their problems? ViaSat is seeking to add a talented and committed member to our IT Service Desk Staff team.
As a member of our Service Desk Staff team, you will provide timely and accurate support to end users that includes password resets, general troubleshooting, and assisting with software installation, and handling various requests for common enterprise software. You will interact with office applications, operating systems, desktop computing equipment, and software to diagnose and resolve problems, and work with other appropriate IT teams or vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems. Additionally, you will also collaborate to establish best practices, techniques, and tools for desktop support and development. You will also work with others to specify desktop support standards, PC hardware standards, and software standards.
Our Carlsbad, CA office is just 30 minutes north of San Diego and 5 minutes from the beach.
