The Regional Director of Student Services is responsible for providing training and on-going support for campuses related to the area of Student Services. The core mission of Keiser University is to provide targeted educational services that meet community needs. The Regional Director of Student Services is also responsible to ensure that the Student Services staff at the campuses are trained and supported as these staff persons aids students in reaching their career goals by preparing students for their transition into the professional world.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review campus placement statistics/ analyze placement progress by program
  • Review and process diploma/degree orders
  • Review online career center for maintenance
  • Review SS Directors' Monthly Reports
  • Review Daily SS Flash Reports
  • Review & submit campus calendars to Webmaster of events that will be published to students
  • Participate in weekly CRSA Conference Calls and SS Directors Conference Calls
  • Plan travel to campuses, conduct campus visit reports, communicate findings with Campus leader, etc.
  • Submit Regional Director of Student Services Report monthly
  • Send 90-days Placement Progress Update emails to the various Student Services Directors,
  • Review campuses' Missing Graduation Exit Applications emails
  • Participate and help lead training in Regional and Annual Student Services Meetings and Conferences
  • Monitor Cross Functional Team and Advisory Board Minutes and rosters, testimonials, grad/employer surveys
  • Review & submit campuses' newsletters to Webmaster
  • Update Departmental Master Plan and participate in CRSA Annual Retreats
  • Review campuses FETPIP / CIE Reporting
  • Review, analyze and communicate information regarding Programmatic Accreditations
  • Review campuses' graduation checklists, programs, orders, etc., and participate as needed in local campus ceremonies
  • Participate in annual statewide graduation ceremony and help in its preparation
  • Participate and help coordinate annual charitable events and work to obtain community investment log information.
  • Participate and assist in planning alumni events
  • Help campuses prepare for Grievance Hearings
  • Update SS portal sites and the online career center
  • Conduct interviews and help in training new hires
  • Special Projects as needed working with all members of the Community Relations and Student Advancement Dept.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
