Job Description:
Performance Services, part of Boston Conservatory at Berklee, seeks a temporary Production Coordinator to coordinate and execute multiple production aspects of two off-campus productions in the Spring 2026 semester. The productions are the Commercial Dance showcase at the Huntington Theater in early February, and a new opera production at the Calderwood Pavilion in April (see detailed schedule below). The Production Coordinator will work closely with the full Performance Services team, the Dance and Music divisions, and the staff of the Huntington and Calderwood theaters to ensure a smooth and successful production for all involved.
The Production Coordinator will serve as a central point of contact and communication for each production, with a focus on maintaining schedules for on-site use of each theater; ensuring designs are on deadline and within budget; and facilitating clear communication between all parties. The Production Coordinator will work a variable schedule, with much of the pre-production work able to be completed remotely. Coordinator will be required in-person between February 2-8, and March 30-April 19. Specific schedule to be determined, and absences on certain days will be considered. Some travel and housing accommodations may be available for specific dates, however this position does not include a travel or housing stipend, and will be expected to secure their own housing and transportation for on-site days as needed. The expected hiring range for this position is $26-31 per hour.
